 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998) also known as MrBeast in the United States, is an American YouTube celebrity. In addition, he is a philanthropist and entrepreneur. He is best known for making YouTube videos that are focused on extravagant stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube at 13 under the name "MrBeast6000". His initial content was a mix of Let's Plays and video estimating the wealth other YouTubers. Following his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video garnered tens of thousands of views within a couple of days, he became an instant YouTube star. His early content included Let's Plays and videos which estimated the amount of money other YouTubers have. After his channel exploded, Donaldson hired several of his childhood friends to help him run the growing business. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million users on July 28, 2022.
