 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actress as a young person just after moving to the United States. She came to prominence for her appearances in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until in 2020. In addition to commercial appearances, she was a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also regularly featured on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being selected to play Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and she fled antisemitism when she was just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Because of her family's financial difficulties, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she quit and obtained a GED. She continued to get the Bachelor of Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
